The Parts
The
Eco-celli is usually delivered in two boxes.
Box
1 is the outer shipping box
Box
2 contains the frame, a glass tube with blue fluid (this
is the Thermometer); A U-shaped tube with red
fluid (this is the Barometer); the barometer scale, calibration kit, and glass plug.
Assembly
Remove
the rubber plug
from the end of the barometer tube.
Slide the left hand side of the
scale with the two brass holders over the
free end of the barometer tube.
Place the rubber hose and plug on
the top of the barometer tube.
Slide the thermometer into the
right hand side of the scale with one brass holder.
Lay the frame on a flat table.
Place the barometer/thermometer
tubes over the brass clips on the
frame.
The
U-shaped tubes go on the left side.
Using your thumb, press the tubes
into the clips in the following
order: 1) lower left hand barometer tube (red
fluid), 2) Upper left hand
barometer tube 3) lower inside barometer tube, 4)
upper inside
barometer tube, 5) lower thermometer tube (blue fluid), 6) upper
thermometer tube.
There are black line marks on both
the barometer and thermometer
tubes.
Slide
the tubes in the mounting clips until these marks line up
with the 77 degree F
mark on the thermometer scale on the frame.
If
you are ready to hang your Eco-celli, remove the rubber hose and
plug and
replace with the glass plug.
Your
Eco-celli is now ready to hang on a wall. Please
read the instruction manual for calibration and care instructions.
